Be Comfortable in the skin your in

“Be comfortable in your own skin.”  As women, we hear this all the time, but it is easier said than done. It got me thinking that we all have good days and bad days—for many reasons, yet, we find a way to get through them. Interestingly enough, some of us compare ourselves to others and strive to be more like them. However, we don’t know everyone’s story- we do not know how much they may be suffering, in pain, or their sadness.  You might be surprised at how many of the people who are idolized have their own insecurities that they battle every day. Some of us do a better job at faking happiness and confidence than others.  Be happy with who you are as a person. Write your own story, go out and live your own life, be fearless, dare, and most importantly,  have fun!

It is FINALLY time to walk up to that mirror, look yourself in the eyes, and tell yourself that what you see does not define you. You are more than your body. Your insecurities should no longer control you and pull you away from enjoying life and being happy. Conquer your insecurities, and make peace with them, because it is  the only way you can live life without regret. The things that scare you and make you feel small, are the things you need to do. The only way you can face your fears is by confronting them head on. When you no longer worry about being judged or looking at a certain way,  you’ll stop looking in the mirror for answers and approval. The only thing that matters in the end is how beautiful you are in your heart. Always remember to stay positive and no one is perfect! You deserve to be at peace with yourself so that you can live fearlessly and comfortable in your own skin!
