What do you need when it’s too cold? A nice warm cup of creamy, chocolaty good-ness that is my best ever hot cocoa. Add to that maca powder, turmeric, and a pinch of cayenne, and you have a decadent hot cocoa that is on superfood steroids. What a great healthy indulgence for the holiday season. I have been a life coach for over twenty years, and I am telling you one of the biggest worries I hear in December and January is “I am scared I will gain weight from the holiday season where I will be tempted to eat lots of sweets.” I assure you there is a way to eat healthy during the holidays, but still indulge. Try my hot chocolate out and you’ll see!

Please enjoy my delicious recipe! The holiday season is meant to be a fun and enjoyable time. I know as you get older it is harder to let go of stress, especially if you have kids or older parents. On top of this is the desire to stay fit and eat healthy. This recipe (as well as all the others in my Healthy Indulgence Book) are great because they allow you to indulge, in this case with chocolate, however ALSO include healthy ingredients! The best of both worlds!
