My healthy indulgence plan is one I hold dear to my heart and truly believe it will help people make peace with food. The first thing I would like you to do is look within yourself and stop self-sabotaging behaviors. There is no quick fix to changing your forever or correcting months and years of yo-yo dieting. It takes dedication, time, and hard work, as well as tools and methods. However, together we can build a strong foundation that will support you on your journey to a better life. Once you’ve decided you’re done with self-sabotage, stop seeing food as the enemy and instead start seeing it as a source of energy and sustenance. Your sustenance is the source of your being and what sustains you. Feed your mind and body!
With my healthy indulgence plan, I want to encourage people to stop the yo-yo cycle of dieting. I want people to learn to love food again. Food is amazing. I want people to stop letting the number on the scale define who they are as a person. People tend to say they are “bad people” if their weight is more or less than they want it to be. Whatever you weigh on the scale should never determine your self-worth. You need to remember that you are a great person and love yourself, no matter what. I go by the saying “health is wealth.” At the end of the day, I want my book to help you understand that health is what is most important, not being skinny, looking a certain way, or having a particular body weight. Please remember that no matter what, even if you are 10, 20, 50 pounds underweight or overweight, you are beautiful! We were all created they way we are for a reason. No number on the scale should tell you otherwise. Please have a look at my book Healthy Indulgence for more insight into this.
